Processing Information
Printing
Our PET Twist Base Film is suitable for various printing methods including flexography, rotogravure, and offset printing. The treated surface ensures excellent ink adhesion and print quality. For optimal results, use inks specifically formulated for polyester films.
Twist Wrapping Process
For optimal twist retention, it is recommended to apply sufficient tension during the wrapping process. The film performs best when twisted at ambient temperature (20-25°C). Excessive heat during the wrapping process should be avoided as it may affect the twist retention properties.
Storage and Handling
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Recommended storage conditions: temperature 15-25°C, relative humidity 45-65%. The shelf life is 12 months when stored correctly. For best performance, acclimatize the film to the processing environment for 24-48 hours before use.
